The advertisement I chose is for Gatorade replenishing drinks. In the picture there's a man just waking up. He is obviously quite messy after a long sleep, and he's not in shape. The shadow he is casting outlines a very muscular man lifting heavy weights.
The point of this is to imply that gatorade will do two things. First, it will give you enough energy to start pumping iron right after waking up. Secondly, it gives the viewer the idea that this drink will cause you to become extremely muscular just by drinking it. This ad is very obviously targeted at men. All men have a dream to be fit and muscular, whereas most women prefer to be thin and toned.
Gatorade does a good job at making this drink appealing to the male gender. Slightly far fetched, but overall very persuading.
